Twice?True, they seem to dislike us even though we like them (mainly for lending us their ground twice 37 years ago). I don't really care either way personally.
Teesside vs Durham?Hope they pull something out of the hat in the next few weeks...
On another note, why has there always been a camaraderie with Pools but there was a hatred with Darlington - at least when they were further up the football league - thinking 85 & 86 in particular?
The new manager is unbeaten so far although they are all draws it’s encouraging and he’s well liked as I understand it.Looks bad for our sister club..... hope you stay up poolies....could be a looooong way back if they go down....
Draws are a start - becoming hard to beat and to stop losing is the first aim of a manager coming into a situation like Hartlepool's.The new manager is unbeaten so far although they are all draws it’s encouraging and he’s well liked as I understand it.
They just need a bit more luck because they could’ve beat orient on Saturday with the chances they had
Come on pools !
I like your positive thinking and I do hope they manage to pull survival off but Crawley has picked up 7 points in their last three games. Hartlepool are unbeaten in their last three games but need to start turning these draws into wins.Draws are a start - becoming hard to beat and to stop losing is the first aim of a manager coming into a situation like Hartlepool's.
They now need to turn some draws into victories and start going ahead rather than chasing the game. They have a slim chance

Harrogate aren't out of it but I would rather see Crawley go down just because they are southern based.
As mentioned previously, it might be time to split the division into North and South.
And Hartlepool where possible should be our first look to in order to support them with loans! We need them to do well for the area and their town….Since 1986 Boro have had their most successful period in our history, without the helping hand of Hartlepool in our hour of most need that period does not happen, I and every Boro fan should be eternally grateful and wish our nearest league neighbours every success, hope they escape relegation and can re-build for a future that becomes the most successful period in their history.
Great supporters who always back their team, I'd encourage anyone who's not been to the Vic recently to get down there if they're given the opportunity, Hartlepool are not our rivals, those League Cup ties in 86 being our only ever competitive meetings, so why any Boro fan wouldn't want them to survive is beyond me.
Why? We have to pick the correct clubs for the correct player, we can’t just send them to Hartlepool because that’s the easy option. And Hartlepool where possible should be our first look to in order to support them with loans! We need them to do well for the area and their town….
