I want to go next year for the first time and will not be doing a full weekend just one day dependant on line ups...
I love my music so will surely enjoy it but does anyone have any experience of this event good or not so good with any tips

Also how easy is it to infiltrate the venue with 36 cans of 80bob....?

Surely its easy enough to bury them somewhere in the grounds in advance? Given that its closeby etc.

Love a great escape themed festival visit atypical. ..
Can I ask how far in advance should one bury the stash and ....how deep should you dig.?

I'd say 2 weeks, dig no more than 6 foot, otherwise looks like you're digging a grave, which is frowned upon in public parks.

We went a couple of years ago when Rag n Bone Man headlined, (Embrace & Razorlight were supporting acts too).

As with anything like this it's weather dependent, but on a nice day it's a cracking place to have a festival. Plenty to do, loads of music choices and lots of food/drink options which I don't think was ridiculously priced if I remember rightly.

Think you'll do well to smuggle much in as there are bag checks so your Great Escape plan may have to come into play.. just don't bury them under where they're going to build the stage!

You will struggle to get any tinnies into most festivals. Best way to smuggle booze into festivals is these little chaps:



Rum, vodka, gin whatever and just buy cola/other pop in the fest if you don't want to drink it neat. Just tuck 'em in your pants. About £3-4 for ten on E of the bay.

I think kubix is just as good for less than half the price, shuttle bus from mbro too
