The numbers are 100% inflated. It has repeatedly been explained financial times are spreading fear and propaganda.
Has it? By whom?
Due to dying with and of covid being treated as the same thing.
Due to untested people being added to figures.
That means a high likelihood of over reporting not the other way round.
OH, I thought you were serious when you said the FT were renowned for spreading fear and propaganda . Glad to see it's just in your head.
Sorry I should have put a ',' I meant it's been explained that the numbers are likely over reported and that in this instance the financial times are spreading fear and propaganda, my apologies.
Famine isn't death and based on those not having enough food in this country seems a reasonable hypothesis. Both Whitty and the ONS bod are really worried about excess deaths (now 4500 up until 10 April); these are over reported Covid-19 deaths. A lot of people are worried if you're not.Sorry I should have put a ',' I meant it's been explained that the numbers are likely over reported and that in this instance the financial times are spreading fear and propaganda, my apologies.
Now how about the 250,000,000 people at risk of famine (a number that has doubled) due to the economic impact of lockdowns on international commerce.
And the deep prolonged recession that 60% of business leaders believe we are heading into.
Any comment on that?

Agree with that to some extent, but statistics don't lie, only the interpretation of them.i was once told 87% of statistics are made up. That’s why i watch the news with an open mind.
I watch news from different outlets and the truth is normally in there somewhere

I notice how you ignore the fact that 250,000,000 people are at risk from famine.

There have been a billion items of PPE provided, but that isn't a good story if 2 billion are required.
Sorry bear I'm with Alvez on this one. Nobody is explaining the difference in stats between dying of covid-19 and dying with it. That alone will have a massive impact on the numbers.
What's to say those unfortunate souls who passed away from pneumonia between November 2019 and the end of January 2020 didn't actually pass away from covid-19? Also I'd seen deaths caused by heart attack and strokes were well down the last few months, that can't be a coincidence?
I do not believe that 41,000 people in this country have died purely because of covid-19, nevermind scientific models, the people in that number will be spread all around the UK which surely means a massive percentage of us have either got it currently or have already had it.
