Happy st Patrick's day

Racist.

Oh no, sorry, thats if you celebrate St. Georges Day 😀
I can't remember anyone celebrating St George's Day when I was growing up but it started to become more talked about in the mid 90's, not sure why? Maybe it was a counter push against independence movements in the Uk, but that's a guess. I have celebrated it but then there is people who I have met who use it to promote their idea of their superiority not inclusiveness, How do you see it @The_Tiler ? what I feel about Paddies day is that it is more inclusive, and anyone but anyone can take part in it - if you want to.

St Patrick was Welsh was he not?
I celebrate St Patrick's day on two accounts. Today would have been my nana's birthday and I usually raise a glass to her memory, she knew everything about the Boro. The second account is St Patrick is the patron saint of Montserrat, the place of my great grandfather's birth.

Wiki: On 17 March 1768, a slave rebellion failed but their efforts were remembered. Slavery was abolished in 1834. In 1985, the people of Montserrat made St Patrick's Day a ten-day public holiday to commemorate the uprising. Festivities celebrate the culture and history of Montserrat in song, dance, food and traditional costumes.
