Happy 50th Birthday Juninho

Legend status gets thrown about too easy these days, especially in football.

But that guy literally is a legend.

He will have a statue outside our stadium one day.
 
The greatest I've had the pleasure of watching week in week out, 96/97 season was a privilege to watch him and the biggest regret ever we never stayed up and brought more quality players in as rumoured to play with him.
 
Great player and a very humble player, when he signed in 1995 Arsenal tried to hijack the deal at the last minute, but he stayed loyal saying Boro were the team to show interest first and he gave his word.
Boro then signed the 22 yr old brazilian footballer of the year for £4.75m and the rest is history.
All the best little fella, it was great watching you week in week out in a Boro shirt.
 
Still the main player everyone associates with Boro around the world. Weird in that in his first and best spell, he was probably here for about 18 months/two years.
 
Happy birthday Oswaldo and thanks for giving me some of the greatest football moments I can remember.
