Hang on a minute - Sunak……

His spokesman was asked if our PM has paid a tax penalty.
There was no denial just a comment that it was a private matter
my oh frickin my
Given his wife's non-dom controversy, plus her and her families business dealings and the fact that he himself held a non-dom status not that long ago I would bet that his tax affairs would be incredibly damaging for him.

It seems that something has been leaked, which seems a coincidence with Zahawi being on the verge of being sacked. Nothing would surprise me with this nest of costs that try to pass as government.

Starmer seems to know something and this will run a while yet for sure.

Waiting for the blue on blues to really kick off. This is just the hors d'oeuvres. Think quite a few MPs, doners, chums, hangers on have reet damaging stuff on others and the rats are going to be put in the sack.......

Wasn't he supposed to be publishing his tax returns in December?

I got the impression in pmqs today that he knows something too. Seemed to be setting taps for sunak.

It's a well rehearsed Starmer tactic now isn't it, the setting of traps and playing a longer game over a number of weeks?

I know he's not to everyone's taste, but I thin he's a very clever politician and a pragmatist too.

It might not lead to an approach that traditional left wing voters warm to, but it's one that will guarantee the best chance of a long overdue Labour government.

Probably still another 2 years to wait before we can vote them out, depressingly.

I’m not convinced Sunak will last that long tbh. Johnson is clearly on manoeuvres and it will all just add to the infighting and self destruction, hopefully.

I honestly can't see them lasting a full two years. My guess is either May or October 2024.

I hope they don't, but they've still got a big majority and every poll for months on end has indicated they're getting wiped out.

They'd be mad to call an early election.
