Was good to see. It is that side of our game that has been badly missing for a while now. Morris and Hackney on form is a good midfield at this level.

Me too, he had a good game last night (the ref) in terms of letting the game flow and not seeking to be the centre of attention.

Fair play to both of them, and to Saito for not writhing around afterwards. You do wonder what the ref would have done if he/the QPR players had made more of it (and you could argue QPR were naive in not doing so). But then I lost any sympathy when they decided not to throw us the ball back at the end.

Yeah, I think that was it. He was right on the scene and looking directly at it. Bizarre decision - not that we ever create any danger from corners anyway, so it didn't cost us.

I think if the other lad hadn't have jumped back up the referee would have felt obliged to give something there. Great tackle but not many of them get through these days.

The ref also held the game up because Chair was off the field, he also made us bring a throw in forward but allowed QPR to take a throw 20 yds away from where the ball went out of play.He did appear to be angry with QPR for not returning the ball to us late on and to be fair to their bench they weren’t too happy with their own player either.

Drury and Maddo said the manager was trying to get them to do the right thing, but they ignored him. Apparently Leadbitter went up to the manager and patted him on the back as if to thank him for trying.

Yes, Cifuentes was going crazy at them for not giving it back.
Tho given Azaz looked fine, it was a bit of time eating by us, I think I'd be wanting us to launch it in if the roles were reversed

If Hackney could keep up that tempo and application for the whole 90 minutes, he would be a top class player.

and he wouldn't be playing for us anymore. So lets enjoy the glimpses while we still can.
