Can they really? You sound like you should be a politician as you also don't have a clue. Don't you think that some people commit crime or take drugs as they have or don't think they have any other choice?

See the part regarding police cuts. Yes recreational drugs are a very real problem but they are also prevalent due to cuts in policing which leads to addiction and the endless cycle.

But continue with a pointless war on drugs and talk about making cannabis a class a drug.
In the past we said they were all the same in terms of politicians being sh it, but this shower are many levels worse, but more fool us for not removing them.

Well looks like the lefty snowflake warnings of 40 years have come to fruition.

If you make life hard for large sections of the population they won't give a toss about the rest of society. Take away their jobs, run down their schools, close their youth clubs and community centres etc and create a social mess which means the demands on the NHS and social care go through the roof.

And you expect them to care about you?

Leftie snowflakes are usually right, because leftie snowflakes are usually better educcated, utilise analysis of facts above emotional prejudices, and tend to be much more honest.

But every now and then even the right are right....for example the Torygraph admitting yesterday that Project Fear has come to fruition, it was true and brexit is a failure

The poorer any country gets the crime rate goes higher - it is intrinsically linked

absolutely this, the path to spending less on police is to educate the people, give people a path to well paying jobs, leading to massive cuts in poverty. This has the added bonus of improving the countries productivity.....trickle up economics would also occur, so investments companies and business owners would be rewarded.....I mean the 0.1% of greed at all costs wouldn't be able to make as much with little effort, the snakes in suits who gain through corruption and sociopathic business practices would have their opportunity to garner wealth through no real effort, would be stuffed, but fook them. Business owners who are actually good at strategy, marketing, and improving their human assets would do well.

Are they though? Because if this country had any sort of decency about it, they wouldn’t be in power in the first place.

When you talk about a fair and equal society, you get labelled a ‘lefty’. As if to care about people is weak. Because that’s not the way the world works etc etc etc.
