To be fair, looking at the map and the countries surrounding it, it's not just the gulf of Mexico though is it?

So the thing about the marathon name change. It was known as marathon in the UK because we have the word knickers which snickers sounds like.

Thing is if you say the word knickers to an American you have to be very careful as it can sound like a racist insult.
