Was somebody eating a sandwich Infront of him?My life is better than yours! Lacking class there. Lets hope City fall foul of FFP then the Journos will have a field day.
It's just a smarty pants version of Warnock's summary of Djed Spence.Loves to belittle his players in public
Latest swipe is at Grealish.
By all means have a go at the lad in private but does he have to put him down like that?

Impossible to know really but based on what he's done in his career it's fair to say he has generally improved players that come in and for the most part has had very few high profile failures when signing player so there's a good chance he'd do pretty wellThere’s no doubt Guardiola is great but I really would love to see if he could do it at Grimsby or somewhere (as with others who’ve spent all their career managing top/rich clubs) just as a form of experiment. I think that would be fascinating to see to be honest. Can he really improve Joe Clogger?, can he adapt his philosophy to suit the level/players? Can he manage a tiny budget and wheel and deal to build his squad to reach his preferred style of play and take them Up through the leagues? And so on.

Wouldn't it be great if an elite manager took on a challenge like that just for the love of the game? Feels almost unthinkable now. There’s no doubt Guardiola is great but I really would love to see if he could do it at Grimsby or somewhere (as with others who’ve spent all their career managing top/rich clubs) just as a form of experiment. Would be a great Netflix series.Wouldn't it be great if an elite manager took on a challenge like that just for the love of the game? Feels almost unthinkable now.
Cloughie sort of did when he took the Brighton job I guess, and it didn't really work out.
There was a documentary years ago when Malcolm Allison took on a Sunday Morning pub team. He bombed big style.Wouldn't it be great if an elite manager took on a challenge like that just for the love of the game? Feels almost unthinkable now.

That sounds interesting. There was a documentary years ago when Malcolm Allison took on a Sunday Morning pub team. He bombed big style.
If players don't have the potential to improve the best coach in the world will only go so far withvthem.
