Grosicki released by WBA

Just for the record here are the forwards I posted about over 2 months ago, Keinan Davis is the we really want..

I also really like the look of Keane Lewis-Potter at Hull City as a wild card, he"s only 20 but has been getting some rave reviews recently.

What’s so special about Davis? I haven’t seem much of him tbh, but he’s made 70 odd appearances in 5 years and scored 3 goals. I know most of them are 5 minutes here and there, but at 23 you’d expect more. Not that I am writing him off, as he wouldn’t be any worse that anything we’ve had in the last couple of years, but I’d be keen to understand what makes him one of our top targets.

I just think he hasn't had much of a chance at Villa, the season they went up they had Tammy Abraham and then signed Watkins who has been brilliant.
We apparently nearly got him on loan in the transfer window but Villa got a couple of injuries and he wasn't allowed to leave.
I'll let you know when I hear anything 🔥

I'm all in favour of having some experience in the team, but I don't think winger is the position I want it. He will be 33 when the season starts.

I'd like to get away from signing names we know. I'm not advocating a lucky dip. I know it's unfashionable to praise our recruitment team, but they've done ok shopping in the lower league.

I think the question we need to ask ourselves is, are we going all in for promotion next season at the risk of setting us back for 3-4 seasons if we don't make it, or are we in the phase of building steadily? For me it's the latter: I don't see our transfer window putting us in the top 4 or 5 favourites for promotion. Therefore I'd steer away from signing big wage veterans or PL youngsters on loan (unless there's a chance of getting them permanently).

Every month or two we have a "does the club have a coherent plan/strategy/vision" type of thread, usually arguing that we don't and that we need one. I don't see what coherent strategy signing Grosicki would be part of other than "promotion this season or bust"

You must be joking...He only comes on a sub and has hardly started....we don't listen to you anyway you said Bolasie was rubbish and he's clearly better than anything we've got at the club ?

When are you going to get an avatar by the way ? Just choose something that represents your character. Cliff Richard, Alan Titchmarsh... something like that 👍
