Grinding out results

Get used to it.

Teams - especially the ones we are "expected" to beat - will primarily try to nullify us and stop us playing. Park the bus. Time waste. Niggle and stop us playing fluidly.

Times it won't affect us, times it will and we will be poor.Just need to be patient and keep the faith.

Carrick, for such an inexperienced manager, knows what's what. Supporters need to chill and realise the game will be won/lost over 95+ minutes.

3 points however we get them, that's it 👍

I didn't think it was that much of a grind.

QPR put a hell of a lot into the first half, disrupted play, but didn't really create much. We probably were a bit complacent, and the fact some players hadn't played together before did show.

They probably were the better side first half, but were always going to tire.

I thought class showed second half, and I could see the breakthrough goal coming when we got it.

Also thought their keeper was very good; solid in the air and a couple of great saves to keep it respectable.

I agree grinding will be necessary, but we were a bit better than that today.

I know QPR are on a wretched run but you've gotta wonder why when you look at their team and manager. Something just not right there.

Hopefully @r00fie1 will be along soon with one of his "Keep Calm and Carrick On" pictures

Trust the team to get the right result, we the fans just have to be patient as well
