Great song. I love Pearl Jam, they’re one of my favourite bands but I’d go with ‘Go’ ‘Brain of J.’ ‘Last Exit’ and ‘Sometimes’ before ‘Once’.

Could see them too - but this was a band that when I'd just found seemed to explode into my ears and it still resonates.

Same here. I remember first listening to Ten and, when Once kicked in after the intro music, thinking that Pearl Jam’s music was something special.

Currently listening to one of my Spotify playlists and Shed 7’s song Getting Better comes on and, with the volume up and the bass raised, I’m reminded what a helluva song it is. I’d forgotten how good it actually is, how good the whole album is, in fact.
