I'd completely forgotten he existed.

I'm sure he'd have at least been on the bench if fit, but agree not really good enough to play in this system.

Doesn't he have a celebrity WAG? Maybe she can help Connelly's missus settle in. They can bond over how to get the most likes on Instagram or whatever it is these z list "celebs" talk about 🙄
 
I imagine he's getting moved on. Didn't he come on a two year deal (maybe option of 3rd?). So not long left and as a free probably on a few quid.

We have Bamba and Wood. Also being linked with Simpson at Rangers and Basham in the past. So maybe looking for another.

I can't help singing this Johnny Cash song in my head when ever I hear his name(I know the original was Sam Hall, but close enough for me lol)
 
Can't play the overlapping CB role, turning circle of an oil tanker and not the best fitness record. Would be a decent signing for some championship sides though, won't be without offers. The question is will he be released now or the summer.

Out this window: Ikpeazu, Hall
Out in the summer: Bamba, Peltier, Daniels, Fisher, Browne, Ameobi, Olasanya

We actually have the 4th oldest squad in the league, but getting rid of that lot for some 23-26 year olds will make us the 4th youngest I think

I don't think Wilder has an issue with age, he had some old players at Sheff Utd.

I don't think we'll see Fisher or Ameobi in a Boro shirt again.

As for Olusanya, he seemed like a signing where Warnock was trying to make a point. He's still young and been training and playing with the U23's. Expect he'll go out on loan to a L2 side, which is probably about his level.
 
We probably need a minimum of 5 centre halves for the three positions (ideally 6?) so that gives us

Fry
McNair
Djiksteel
Peltier
Hall
Wood

If Simpson comes in I can see one or two of the above leaving. Hall would be the obvious choice or potentially Wood back out on loan?

Guess it depends to an extent where he sees Paddy playing long term but based on evidence so far he seems to fancy him at centre half.

Olusanya got injured in training was in the northern echo last week so he won't be loaned out now like they planned
