Graeme Lee

Hartlepool fans aren't too impressed with his appointment. Not a place to go when the fans aren't immediately onside. They are on an awful run so he is up against it.
Good luck to him though. I go and see Pools a few times a season so want him to do well.

Have we ever had any success with the loans we have sent to Hartlepool? Looked for who has been there but couldn't find a list. Has to be right for us and not just helping out a local team.

From what i read on twitter last time they appointed Hignett a few fans seemed sick of the boro link where managers were concerned.

I'm a closet poolie too, always like to see them do well. Go to matches when I get the chance

What a truly bizarre signing he was from
Warnock.
He obviously saw something in the lad that he thought he could develop, a low risk gamble with the potential of high rewards. In the few videos I saw of him his finishing looked absolutely spot on, add his pace into the mix and you already see a potential player in there.

It sounded like Warnock went round the back door for a few of our signings that our recruitment said we didn't need. Bamba, Peltier & Olusanya being examples of this. I remember seeing him gesturing to up to Gibson when Dijksteel was injured like "SEE, I TOLD YOU SO" kind of way.

Warnock dragged his heels on Muniz which is why by the sounds of it that we missed out on him. Maybe Olusanya was going to be 'Warnock's Muniz' - signing him to try and prove a point about our recruitment perhaps? We were left short in a number of positions and Warnock brought players in to paper over the cracks. I don't think anyone would have predicted how much we would end up relying on Sol Bamba and how he's been able to keep grinding out the matches!!

Sam Folarin is back playing again and when I last saw him at Leyland v Burnley u23 he was without doubt a major threat on the opposition goal. too good for the u23s, maybe not quite first team squad. Mr T has scored a couple of u23 goals this season and looked well there - perhaps not quite first team squad also but one of those goals was brilliant

Best of luck to both of them what ever happens - Lee doesn't mess about

I think that's right. Definitely friction there. I think Bamba and Peltier have been good stopgap signings but the fact remains that we sent two full backs and a centre back out on loan all of which could have been used as cover during this period so Warnock and club can have few complaints over an injury crisis when they have exacerbated it by sending squad players out on loan.
