Perhaps the Minister could take a lesson

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand

13 When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. 14 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

15 As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”

16 Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

17 “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.

18 “Bring them here to me,” he said. 19 And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21 The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

It beggars belief that the person charged with leading a key department in Government would be too busy to read THE key document pertaining to her role, it's even more unbelievable that the person in charge of that Government doesn't seem fit to remove that person due to that failure.

This has nothing to do with Tory bashing, Brexit policy or any political preference this is yet another example of why Johnson is not fit to be Prime Minister, I'm shocked that anyone thinks that he has the competence required to govern.

Sorry Roofie, I don't really have time to read that. I get the gist though. Jesus basically host the first Fyre Festival by putting on an event but not having enough provisions for all who bought a ticket. And lo, he was sued.

I was impressed that the EU ambassadors worked on Christmas Day on the agreement.

The lesson is to provide for those who need help by understanding their needs in the first place - Jesus was really a Socialist who put himself last and others first(y)

Since when did details matter to anyone especially those who voted for it, just get it done, dont matter if there's no positives and we are all worse off, just get it done, let johnny foreigner worry about the small print

Just one of the reasons they aren't going to be too well disposed to letting us back in for a while.

As for the minister not reading the document, let's face it, Parliament were only given an afternoon to debate the thing.

BBC news report

Mind you the woman complaining was another vocal brexiter £40k spent was worth it

On the Menai Strait, James Wilson of Deepdock Ltd has stopped sending live mussels to the Netherlands until he sees how the new trading relationship between the UK and the EU works out in practice.
"We'll just have to see how much the bureaucracy costs and assess the viability of the trade going forward," he said.
The trader said only one document had to be filled in in the past.
"A colleague sent a load out last week and he had to send 41 bits of paper with his load," he said.
Every bag of mussels has to have its own documentation.
"It's not just us that are facing an additional paperwork burden its also our customers over in the Netherlands and France who also have to complete a whole different layer of bureaucracy than what they had to before," Mr Wilson said.
"The paperwork is here to stay because we are a third country and what we are facing now is the same as any country (outside the EU) has faced in the past."
