Government backtracks on French quarantine exemption

You can't rely on anything they say

Last week: "The R rate is all that really matters" *R rate goes up* Today: "Just ignore the R rate"

Just like when we topped the European chart: "It's useful to compare our death rate with other countries" *our death rate becomes highest in Europe* "There is no point trying to compare our death rate with other countries"
 
But you can go to and return from anywhere in the world that accepts UK citizens via Dublin it seems
