Sadly my dad Gordon passed away at 17.30 today the 7th, he was on Boros books in the fifties and was a life long supporter and close friend of Harold Sheperdson who got him tickets for the world Cup matches in 1966 including the final. The first ever organised game of football he ever played in was for Boro juniors in goal. He was only an amateur could have gone pro but his dad wouldn't let him, he made him get a trade so he got a apprenticeship at Teesside Bridge as a plater. RIP DAD,missing you already xx
