At this point in the season and in our situation we just need to accept points however they come.
Great three points today and while the risk of ‘typical Boro’ loomed larger when we missed those opportunities, it’s put us in a better position than many people thought we’d be in at 3pm

Too right. That chance at the death they had should have been put away and a draw would have made a very different mood on here.

Really got to put teams away ruthlessly when on top but the sucker punch looked like it would be administered right until the final

We squandered far too many chances and the biggest culprit was Tav. He was frustratingly greedy frankly and on three occasions an easy ball in to a forward in a better scoring position was the option but instead he went alone one tame shot to the keeper secondly a wild shot wide and thirdly blocked for a corner.
It sounds a little unfair given the fact that we won the game but my if they had equalised right at the end and as mentioned above a draw would’ve been an extremely different scenario
