Good post on Derby by bbc

Previous owners fault and he took a lot of their fans and local media along for the ride. Hopefully the new owner is as genuine and honest as the BBC article claims, and hopefully the Derby fans and local media that were deluded enough to believe their victim status will realize that they were wrong.

Pretty obvious reading that it was all Gibson's fault - the sh*t. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Genuinely wish Derby all the best, horrendous what the club and fans have been through.......but not the plutonium grade d*ckheads who refuse to accept anything apart from Gibson being the antichrist. Despite Derby being found guilty of cheating.

has it been announced anywhere what deal was greed with HMRC over tax debt yet
I read somewhere about a failed HMRC court challenge of a few years back which resulted in a ruling that HMRC would no longer receive 100% creditor status like football creditors do when clubs are exiting administration.
Just like with other non-football creditors, HMRC would now receive 25p on the £ for repayment over 2 years and 35p on the £ when repayment is made over 3 years.

Yes
So in effect the UK taxpayer has subsidised Derby's over spending?
Yes it would appear so. I had read about this quietly-not-much-publicized HMRC case somewhere in the annals of the revised EFL Insolvency Policy.
