What a great article. I thought about posting a link to it when I saw it but I imagined there would be howls of protest about reading anything in the Mail.
Warnock has the history, experience and empathy that younger and insecure players can gain from. As the article says, he can improve the majority of many players but it's never 100% success. It remains to be seen if he can transform performances from last season with a currently paper-thin squad but his pride won't let him give less than everything. And he wants to show Steve Gibson what he's been missing on the occasions he didn't get the job.
