Who are we saying will headline then? Olivia Rodrigo would appear to be a shoo-in according to people in the know, same with Sam Fender. Who knows who else. There's not a massive amount of options out there i'd say.

Just out of curiosity, what is your boundary limit for being caught dead?
20 miles from Glastonbury? I dunno
Strange statement.
Not really, The 1975 are quite possibly the worst band I've had the displeasure of seeing live. And the less said about Matt Healey, the better.

(For the record, I didn't buy tickets to see them, they were supporting a band I actually liked at the time - One Night Only.)

Fair enough about 1975 - I share your view.

What is it about your experience of Glastonbury festival that makes you so ‘anti’ it.

It's turned into the thing it was originally against when it first launched - it's massively corporate now and just another festival for people to be "seen" at.

(I've only been once, when it was already turning into what it has become as the rise of the internet and smartphones meant everywhere you looked, people were documenting the moment as opposed to living in it. Nothing winds me up more than people doing that at gigs.)

For all her feminist ways, I cannot believe Emily Eavis is going anywhere near Matt Healey.

Its still WAAAAYYYY less corporate than its competitors. It could be so much more so if it chose, but it doesn't.

Of course its changed in part as its grown, but I think its a bit OTT to describe it as massively corporate, even starting with there not ever being a single commercial on any of the big screens just for one.

As for people being people, yeah thats harder to manage. I would agree its become a box ticker destination. I can't stand those people much either.
