Gibson needs to back this manager.

Squad so thin comparing to size of forrest squad. Needs striker, number 10,midfielder,defender, maybe another young keeper. This manager deserves the backing not sure gibson can fund especially in these uncertain times.
 
He does deserve it but times are hard, he knows it & the club know it, we'll get someone in when everything is right to bring someone in, if we just consoldate this season then so be it, we're in the same boat as 99% of other teams & doing better than teams who have purchased more than us
 
Oumar Niasse was the one people said we should go for , but he is getting offers from clubs in other countries where they can pay big wages , so that one is almost certainly a no goer .
I think we will get to January , and then evaluate . Warnock won't take second best , he will wait until he gets who he wants . Also by January , some clubs may have to sell to survive meaning decent value could be had .

Yep agree with that, he could even have players lined if he knows we have a real chance this season,
 
Neil Warnock was asked this today and gave some really good answers - If I remember rightly he gave a very good response to Joe Nicholson of the Hartlepool Mail so I would have a look at what Joe has to say tomorrow.
There were only 2 of us from written press - and I am pushing to describe myself as written press.

You need to buy a trilby and have a piece of card placed at a jaunty angle in the exterior band with ‘scoop‘ or ‘press’ written on it. I am sure you will be fully accepted then 😉
 
Warnock is getting the best out of the current squad, I think if we’re in the top half come January and there’s no break in football January will be the time wel make a push for the right player .

Striker: Browne
Number 10: Roberts
Midfielder: Wing
Defender: Wood
Young Keeper: Brynn

this part of the season we need to concentrate on keeping clean sheets DEFEND, DEFEND, DEFEND!
after Xmas and in the last run up we need to have all our attacking options available and strengthen ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!

We need a really strong finish where it's there for the taking.. toughest window, Britt and Fletch coming to the end of their contracts, Roberts needs to be used sparingly as and when necessary. Hopefully we have some fringe players step it up and make it a bit easier for us. Three prem quality attackers on loan would be what I'd be looking for.

I don't think NW will get anyone in unless they have anything to give to the club, he'll bide his time & wait for the right player
 
Let's hope the gates open as soon as possible. It would be great to see the fans back this manager.🤔

He's definitely been 'backed'. You look at the likes of Millwall / Blackburn and PNE etc and they have spent feck all.

Trust me that Roberts and Bettenelli won't be cheap In wages and loan fees. Also 2.5mil for Akpom is a fair outlay in current champo standards.
