Getting to the match tomorrow

We live in Darlo, Trains take over 1 hour, due to working on lines , (bus to Thornaby, Then Train from Thornaby to Boro !!!!! ). We're getting a Taxi from Home to Darlo, (can't rely on busses from home to Darlo town centre ) Then X66 bus- takes 55 mins . How far is Darlington from Boro!!!!!

I know some of you will say take the car, but we both wanna bevy or 2

Could be worse could be a Luton Fan using public transport!!!!!!.

Would cost us £30 tomorrow for train and bus from York to Boro so am driving. They could at least reduce the fair when it's a bus replacement service.

A good match day travel experience doesn't need rushing. Sre off with plenty of time, take a multitude of coxhina and pastel for when staring out the bus window on the A66 to the perplexed cows.
Back in the day I did Kings cross to Boro regularly for arriving 2pm so I'm sure you can come through this huge challenge. No Brazilian snacks for me though, just cows , in many fields.

8 quid taxi in Darlo, X66 £2 single, cheaper than a return. Certainly not complaining after that match, excellent. Just have to cross me legs on way back for 50 mins on X66 UTB- worth every penny.
