Get out of this Johnson

This story cannot be true.
People were dying in there thousands.
So we only went to work if our business was absolutely essential.
Non essential businesses collapsed.
Good people had to rely on furlough handouts.
It was awful but we did that to save lives and protect our terrified NHS workers.
And our leaders were gathering in large groups at work?
For wine, cheese and pizza?
No way did this happen.
Did it?
Of course not.
Teflon Johnson - the duplicitous liar:mad:

Morning Smog btw.

It's OK Dominic says they were wearing suits.
Is that the best they can do?
I suspect it is.
We needed some decision on Omicron 2 weeks ago but coward Johnson couldn't take it and now he has disappeared.

I’ve just remembered, In May 2020 I retired and my work colleagues wanted to have drinks outside on the office ‘gardens’ 2m apart to celebrate, they said we could take chairs out and call it a team meeting if anyone asked. There would ironically have been about 15 of us. I had to call a halt to it as I said it would look too much like a ‘social event‘ and the police could be called which would reflect badly on the business, and anyway just didn’t seem right.

Im not saying it was a great scar on my life, a very first world problem in fact. But to see these cnuts laughing in my face for following their stupid rules I feel pretty mugged off.

And Carrie was there to check up on Johnson, presumably to make sure the sack of custard and viagra was behaving himself.

"I know how hard that Number 10 team were working, as the hub, the fulcrum of the crisis response. I think there's a lot of exhausted people, and they, as people do at work, were having a drink after the formal business had been done". The words of our wonderful sun worshipping Deputy Prime Minister. Nearly as deluded as br14 and by the way, if you can only see 1 bottle of wine in that photo, you should avail yourself of a free (for now) NHS eyesight test. As some of you on here may know, my wife worked as a Nurse on a covid ward for 8 months until she retired at the end of last year. I watched her return home after her 12 and a half hour shifts, utterly exhausted with just enough energy to trudge through the house to go and wash her bagged up uniforms, ask me for a cup of tea and then head off upstairs to shower and go to bed and repeat time after time. It was about the time this photograph was taken, that her Stepmam was cremated and she was in absolute bits, because as she said, "all I wanted to do was go over and give my Dad a cuddle, like my Sisters can, but I can't because of the rules". I am beyond angry at this bunch of ****., why is anybody defending them?

I wish I knew the answer to that.

It's kind of a shrodingers cat type meeting I think is what number 10 are saying. It both was and wasn't a work meeting because it both was and wasn't just a case of someone just relaxing in the private garden where they live.

Because it was and wasn't either of those things, then the rules can't possibly have been broken and it made perfect sense for the spouse of the PM to be at the thing that both was and wasn't a work meeting (despite not having the necessary security clearance you would think).

I'm convinced. 🤯

I'd love to contribute eloquently to this debate but I'm so at the end of my tether I know I would just go off on one.....but cmon, how much more can the country take of these clowns, and for the odd one or two on here still batting for them, well, they too are clowns.....

How liars create the ‘illusion of truth’ [BBC]

The "illusion of truth" can be a dangerous weapon in the hands of a propagandist....

........and politicians like Boris Johnson who dont need a swastika or a uniform. The "mainstream media" have been complicit in perpetuating Johnsons lies - until its unquestionably obvious to us all - he is a liar!

Encouraging to note that neither Johnson nor Sunak bothered to attend the latest COBRA meeting last night about possible further restrictions. No wine and cheese being served perhaps? Also I read on that Twitter that Liz "Brains" Truss flew to Madrid for some Chrimbo shopping last week. How lovely.
