"Get a grip"

Kier tells Boris.

the lazy libidinal toad will respond at PMQs, first meet between them since #cummingsgate.
It's certainly going to be interesting viewing for those of us interested. What time is it starting today?

I expect Kier to Play to the people on these islands via Tele, than the gallery.

can there be, a more alone place than in a high court room, stood on your feet in pin dropping silence, extracting information & delivering a narrative of conviction that adjudicators/jury's/judges can understand - it will be home from home for him.

the cameras tell the story.

Was Cummins mentioned, by the time I tuned in they seems to be obsessing about what BJ should and shouldnt be doing about the situation in America - it’s not like we don’t have enough on our plate here.

Unfortunately, what the idiot-in-chief does has repercussions on the rest of the world........

Yes I’m not so sure it warrants every second question including it as a stick to beat Boris with - was a bit odd - I would have thought they had far more ammunition to throw at him!

I couldn't believe he used the word 'Proud' to defend his government's record on (mis)managing the virus. Proud of 50,000 deaths. Among the very worst figures in the world and he's proud. Unbelievable.

I loved Trudeau's response, when he was asked about him....

What Our PM is saying to or about Donald Trump right now, given what we are seeing, reflects hugely on us.

The fact he said nothing to condemn him shows total weakness on his part and was rightly asked about at PMQ's.

Agreed, however Cummings should have been brought up IMO since it was the 1st PMQ since the debacle. It seems that actually it has been successfully kicked into the long grass, just as Johnson hoped and that's disappointing in my view

Indirectly it was, as it has led to the collapse in trust for the government. I would also have like it raised directly but can see why Starmer did not. He would have got nothing out of Johnson and has a limited number of questions.

Even without Cummings, he succesfully got under the PM's skin.

I take your point, but it just feels like Johnson has been let off the hook a bit. Possibly a tactic by starmer today to get Johnson to think Cummings would be a focus to lay a false trail, thus being under prepared for the topics starmer did address

He definitely got under his skin and Johnson seems quite prone to getting a bit shirty when flustered

Artie, it was alluded to when talking about the erosion of thepublics trust. The problem Starmer has about Cummings is it is none of his business. Strictly speaking it is an internal matter for Johnson who directly employs cummings.

Before PMQs I would have agreed with you Artie. But I think that Johnson was probably expecting something on Cummings and didn't get it. Instead, he was just dissected on live TV. I now think that Cummings still being in No10 is merely further demonstration of how weak Johnson is, nothing needs to be said it is just left hanging there. Johnson should sack him and the longer he doesn't, the weaker he appears to be. Hoist on his own whossname.

Agree with those 2 posts, I perhaps naively expected a more direct question, but as the saying goes a week is a long time in politics so it's old news now
