Geordies getting closer to a trophy!

Leicester City home in the quarter final of our cup. Can you imagine how unbearable they would be if they were to win it

Man City are still in it. Plus Man Utd have a very favourable tie.

Newcastle may beat Leicester but they’ve got 1 or 2 big hurdles to jump still.

It won’t be if but when they win a trophy with those new owners. Which IMO taints any success they achieve.

A little controversial maybe, but I don’t have a major gripe with the Geordies.

My Dad who passed away when I was an bairn was a Geordie. In an alternate Dimension (because there’s loads!), I’m probably a Newcastle fan.

That is still unthinkable in my mind now, but overall I do like Newcastle as a city. Some of their fans are a little deluded, but no more than some Boro fans.

Still don’t want them to win it, and don’t think they will. But given the investment over the next few years, it’s probably delaying the inevitable!

Those pesky Mackems on the other hand… 😡

Quarter-finals is still a long way from winning it, as we well know.

It's been a decade since a club outside the big 6 won it, and Swansea played a club from the fourth division in the final to manage it.

Whilst I personally have lots issues with their ownership, from a purely football perspective it’s not a bad thing to shake up the “big 6”.

No chance while City are still in it. I'll admit they're improving but they're still light years behind the top sides in the division.

It’s all a bit naff isn’t it? If we’re all honest, every football fan whatever team you support, football isn’t very cool anymore.

A quarter-final birth is winning the cup in the eyes of a Geordie. ;)

This is the one season I wouldn't mind them winning it (I hate myself for saying it) 😶

I might cash out and hope Leicester stuff 'em.
