I just love how much it triggers gammons.
It really does doesn't it? TBH I stay away from the discussion because: In life I don't care, but when it comes to sport sometimes I worry about it. I don't have enough of an opinion or experience to be able to see anything valid. I just know that in general life, I don't give a monkeys. I was amazed at the pelters I got for calling Eddie Izzard "her" on Twitter. If she wants to identify as female let her. Shge's still funny. Which is kind of the point in a comedian.

Yeah I think when it comes to sport and crimes.... its a grey area and it kind of becomes dangerous for people.

Two main ones (Male & Female) plus hundreds of others that don't fit either of those!!! Whilst I think it's fine in general to categorise yourself as anything you want to, and that decision to be accepted and respected by others, I don't really think (unless you actually go and have gender reassignment), that the legal system could cope with such diversity, it would be way too complex. Some will say the case in Scotland is an outlier but look at the damage the man did - that can't be allowed to happen, even if extremely rare. Women and girls need to be able to feel safe, whether that's in a changing room, a prison or a school. As a gay man, I always thought that the term 'Queer', which was reclaimed from hate it could be used by anyone that doesn't fit the heteronormative profile. Clearly people will disagree and, whilst am very supportive of Trans Rights, they can't trump the right of women and girls to feel safe.

Evolution broadly male & female.
Nurture & nature, broadly whatever you want, certainly after about 21.
Sport & crime, evolution & genetics over choice.

Broadly people should be able to be who they want to be, though don't expect others to always see eye to eye with their decision, anticipate & accept different viewpoints..

It's imho no where near a clear & cut as media are pushing it, & certainly not as in stone as the anti trans movement would like.
