Gary Lineker being reined in

Can imagine someone like Amazon getting the deal soon and have Linekar fronting it.

Frank Sinclair levels of own goal from BBC here.

"The Premier League has told the 12 clubs playing today that their players and managers will not receive requests for Match of the Day interviews, the BBC understands.

It has also said this to the League Managers' Association and the Professional Footballers' Association.

It comes after a number of players last night indicated they would not do post-match interviews with the BBC show, out of solidarity with Gary Lineker."

Christ, what have I done to you fella?
I'd take some of Sherlock's stuff with a pinch of salt.

I remember saying watching Prince William and Harry having a scuffle might be quite amusing and he said he found my view towards violence as "disturbing" then managed to twist it into some sort of equivalence to finding domestic violence funny too.

Whilst I cannot stand Sugar, this tweet was well before the new DG brought in the new impartiality guidelines in autumn 2020 shortly after his appointment. Under the previous DG Lineker tweeted loads of political stuff that he wasn’t reprimanded for either (and I’m not saying he should have been).

I’ve no doubt Sugar may have tweeted worse political stuff since and I’d be well in favour of his sacking if he has.
YOu are acting like impartiality guidelines weren't there before, they were.
