Full Allocation for Man Utd - 9,443 tickets

Will sell out when it goes on general sale. This board isn't a true representation of most boro fans. Loads will go who don't normally go. Weekend away in Manchester.

If Boro have agreed to these prices then it's an absolute disgrace. We've shot ourselves in the foot because at £30 (an amount already far too expensive for away supporters) we would have sold out. We wont shift nearly 10 thousand tickets at those prices. Not a chance.

Remember it is only adults at those prices, concessions are about £20 less.

How many years is it since we played at Old Trafford?
31st December 2016 maybe? A 2-1 defeat.
You'd be surprised how many fans have never been, and there'll be quite a few of the younger regulars who wouldn't have been old enough to go by themselves or with their mates.
We'll sell out.

If what was said on this board multiple times recently that Villa were offered 3000 at £30 and 6000 at £45 and 9000 at £54 is true, then the club has done well to get 9000 at £45. The club statement said they've taken the largest allocation to allow as many fans to go as possible, presumably this is an indication that it would have been cheaper if they took a smaller allocation? If we'd took the smaller allocation for £30 there would be just as many complaints.

I suppose the consolation in all this is that at least MFC collect around 45% of the gate revenue.

Personally, at those prices I wouldn't be interested in attending even if Steve Gibson and Neil Bausor offered to carry me there on a sedan chair.

That's a good point on the gate rev, anyone know if they are ever going to allow you to use the ticket refund from season tickets from the covid season yet? I've still got the £73.04 sat in my account and unless i've missed something, i've never seen an option when i've bought away tickets online before, pretty sure there wasn't for Blackburn? Surely this match would make perfect sense to use it for as we'd get the 45% back.

Good point. How do you find out how much is in your account?

Can't say I'm surprised to be honest. I did expect a bit of range in the ticket prices though. I think some of those seats must be right at the back of that stand (which is huge)?

If we charge 30 or so for Championship 45 is presumably the going rate for a top half premier club?
