Fulhams new stand prices 😳

season 1980/81

Boro's £35 season ticket would be £166.82 at todays rate with inflation.

Boro's £2.00 to sit would be £9.53 at todays rate with inflation

Boro's £1.30 to stand would be £6.20 at todays rate with inflation

* i noticed on another thread a comment about Bernie Slaven and his transfer fee of £35,000 - that would be £117, 872.25 at todays rate with inflation.

Googled Craven Cottage and discovered you can actually stay there for only £61 a night which seems very good value.

This is for what looks to be a very nice 2 bedroom apartment in Northallerton on Booking.com;)

It’s ridiculous , but they’re arguably the most middle class fan base in the entire country . When I’ve been to craven cottage the whole experience has felt middle class

Also in Putney too, a wealthy area. When I lived in southwest London it was known for being posh

Yup, when I was dahn Sarf a lot of no -Brit’s, especially Americans, had season tickets at Fulham. They were more I treated in the away teams…

Watching MOTD and there’s no one in it! Guess it’s not been opened yet?

I'm assuming that's why the prices were as high as they were due to reduced capacity and supply and demand?

EDIT The Upper tier won't be open this season!

Ref Jonny's post

Prices were much cheaper in 1980 some adjustments are required for doubling of VAT and the quality of the facilities
taking this one into account a seat would be closer to £20. The uplift from £20 to £30 is probably due to players wages which have risen from around £300 to £20k per week in the Championship unfortunately that is the inflation rate that clubs have to consider as well as RPI.
