Fulham ticket details?

I think there will be an announcement tomorrow - but don't know if tickets will go on sale immediately - so I would be poised just in case.

No guarantee you get a shot at buying tickets if you're a season ticket holder then...

Yes this significantly waters down the benefits of a season ticket if you don't even have a shot at away tickets for popular games.

Points systems at just about every club that have introduced them have simply created a closed shop.

Is it a closed shop though? You can build up a lot of points by having a season ticket and then each time you buy a ticket (home or away) you move ahead.
The majority voted for a priority system. I think it is fair because of those people travelling to Cardiff on a Wednesday night and then unable to get in to a Saturday game at York or somewhere. But am not defending it for personal reasons as it doesn't effect me one way or another.
I have always suspected that there are far less regulars going to most away games than people think. I don't know if that makes sense - but from going to all the away games I know there are far less in my group than most people realise. ie Most Boro seasons the number going to every away game is around a 100 or less. Some seasons a lot less.
The number going to most of the away games is also going to be far less than you might anticipate - it won't be a 1000 or anywhere even coming close to that total I wouldn't think. It is probably only a few hundred at most going to the majority of away games.
If you only go to a couple of away games then you probably fear there are far more buying for every away game than there actually are.
This was written without any facts or stats but just going on feeling. Perhaps getting the actual stats from the ticket office could set peoples minds at rest.

The priority points system appears an improvement to what there was before. People who go to most away games and have season ticket card should get first choice. The best seats should go to the highest points. Its right for a season ticket card and number of away games to both contribute.

I know Boro fans in London may not like it, as it might mean they don't get a London away match ticket. My response is buy a season ticket and just go to odd games you can. Often moving to London means a sizeable increase in salary and right off £420 of that for a season ticket. Most Boro away games do not sell out, its rare for an away game to not go on general sale at some point. Of course it might change if we pick up this season.

160 points required - I would suspect quite a few people on here have been season ticket holders for 2019/20 and this season, so for Gold ones thats enough unto itself, even later season ticket holders with some away games will reach the 160 mark if they had a season ticket in 2015/16 season. Anyone without a season ticket though will unlikely have enough points.

I am lucky enough to have enough points, and get to Fulham but the decision is about safety from Covid for me.

For those that can't go the game is on Sky.
