Great effort that. FairPlay to Ruddy, he was their best player.McNair almost scored a cracker as well

Yep.Great partnership at the moment and both playing on merit. McNair was unlucky not to bag a goal today, terrific shot.
Not heard anything about Lenihan, and I'm surprised none of the media have asked about his absence. But I suppose the fact they haven't shows just how well Fry and McNair have been playing, is that three clean sheets in a row now?
Sat in the West Stand with his family. Can’t knock them as a pairing at the moment. Long may it continue.

Gazette just quoted Carrick as saying he was out with a sore Achilles.Sat in the West Stand with his family.
I said this a few weeks ago. Lenihan is a better defender than both, but he has never formed a good partnership with eitherCan’t knock them as a pairing at the moment. Long may it continue.

I was shocked that The Gazette only gave him a 6 in the player's ratings.Crooks deserved man of the match but it could easily have gone to either of these, or Barlaser.
Lenihan is absolutely not a better defender than Fry. I think the last few weeks and clean sheets we’ve clocked up without him in the side puts that to bed.I said this a few weeks ago. Lenihan is a better defender than both, but he has never formed a good partnership with either
I’d say it proves my point that CB is about partnerships as much as individuals. Fry was already in the team letting in too many soft goals before lenihan was ‘rested’Lenihan is absolutely not a better defender than Fry. I think the last few weeks and clean sheets we’ve clocked up without him in the side puts that to bed.
