Frustrating results when you look back

I remember it well, despite the loss Boro fans were under the impression Aston Villa had finished below us on goal difference, so we were celebrating at the final whistle, until the tannoy announcer revealed we'd finished 3rd on least goals scored. The Leicester fans (who brought a big following that day) went mental hearing that. Not sure why, I always thought they and Villa had a bit of a rivalry!
Yeh I was there. IIRC we were stood for half an hour waiting for the announcers to work out goal difference

I can only think of Millwall away this season where we were comfortably the worst team. Burnley and Sunderland, I think we could've got something but for lapses of concentration.

Millwall we were awful and never looked like scoring.

The way I look at it, if Wilder hadn’t had such a crap start and scraped an extra couple of wins, he likely would not have got the bullet and we wouldn’t have got Carrick.

We’d be plodding along in midtable at best and with Wilder still bleating on about left footed centre backs and developmental strikers.

Can't really complain about many of the results since Carrick took over. Even the losses to Burnley, Sunderland and West Brom were 'learning' points. Add the Stoke draw into that too. That's what I like most about Carrick is that he learns from every game and tries to improve us, mostly with positive outcomes.

Don't even have to be frustrating results, mine is Vidukas miss against Sevilla, I still have an occasional week I don't think about it.

You can drive yourself crackers looking back.
Still haven't got over the fa cup defeat against Orient.
This is still hard to bare but I can't believe no one's mentioned the FA Cup quarter Final game against Birmingham when we got beaten 1-0 after stuffing them 3-0 both home and away prior to this game and the Wolves 1981 FA Cup Quarter Final when got beat in the replay at their place.

I mentioned Orient as an example, there have been many.
Birmingham was my first big disappointment, Wolves was also a huge letdown.
Drawing 3-3 at home to Newcastle, victory cruelly snatched away.
Leicester at home, stopping our promotion on the last day.
Losing 4-0 at Sunderland on the back of a great run.
Oh and don't forget the league cup semi at man city having won the first leg.
I could go on...😢😂

I have now decided you are top of the posters I dislike list, I had forgotten about Leicester at Wembley. 🤣 🤣 🤣
