68 league goals. You need a new notebook.

As for Muniz, I read this morning that a deal is "potentially imminent" whatever that means. "Potentially" means the same as "not", right?
Maybe the dog ate 2014/15's notebook?! Shall we have a whip round and get him a new jotter for this season?!

I thought Vossen was a good player; with Bamford, Tomlinson and Adomah I loved watching us then.
Those days are largely the only decent period in around 15 years or so; the only times we probably went to games expecting to win, great atmosphere and great rapport between fans, management and owners. An all too brief but fantastic couple of years.

It was good period in general, but believe or not there was alot of criticism on here about negative football sidewards passing by crabs and about was a waste of space Kike was (their words not mine).

I do remember Kike divided opinion - however, I really liked him. He was a little frustrating at times but he was limited and we needed to accept that, however he was never, ever found wanting and still played a decent part in those good times.

I think overall the fans liked him and it was mutual - I remember the letter he wrote to the Boro fans when he left. Fond memories of him overall especially THAT goal at Man City and his reaction to it.

Cheers WeeGord

Posters will alway find something to moan about was what was going through my head.

Kike was mixed for me, preferred Stuani (called a Northern League standard player on here) and Ramirez (in Champo).

Without a doubt Ramirez was top class for us when he was on loan and was streets ahead of virtually any player we had at the time. Likewise Stuani was class but sadly played out of position, but I preferred both of those to Kike. That said there was something very admirable and likeable about Kike's commitment and effort and he never let the team down despite being more limited than the other two.

Overall they're times I remember fondly and hopefully this coming season we're able to replicate the promotion season.

UTB.

Yep battered em 3-0 in front of over 32k on Boxing Day 2014. Vossen scored off the bench late on that day.
Had to look it up to remind me,. Well remembered AA.

I think his goal that day was quite a good one too.

I didn't have him down as a particularly good finisher though. I recall a couple of keepers (Blackpool and Blackburn maybe) making great save from him, but when you looked at them, it was really because he's given them a chance by hammering it at the centre of the goal. Better finishers would have placed them in the corner, no fuss.

So I suspect he'd have gotten us a few great goals, but would never have been prolific.

Fulham just announced the signing of Solomon, not sure if they will class him as a forward, but could see Muniz deal now go through.
