Frank Carter + Sex Pistols

Great to see proper bassist Glen Matlock take his rightful position instead of the Untalented Mr Ritchie.

In fact I'd rather see this lineup than have the hypocritical butter advertising, Trump supporting, alleged racist and walking contradiction, Johnny Lydon.
Jones says on the Classic Albums programme that if they hadn't sacked Matlock there would have been more stuff from them.

You're in for a treat. An absolutely glorious treat. I was at Glasgow on Sunday too and it was a hell of a show. Enjoy!
I was at the Glasgow gig also, back to the fun days of the rock garden era. Frank was superb, great front man. I was at the barras on the Saturday for Arab Strap, but they were probably overshadowed for me by Benefits from the People’s Republic of Teesside, as they announced themselves..

Steve Jones has indicated they will probably do more shows after this
Jones Matlock and Cook are clearly enjoying the shows with Carter
Wherever the roads take them, I wish them all well.
I was fortunate enough to see three dates in total this time around: Bush Hall; Rock City; Glasgow Academy, and they were all incredible shows - easily my favourite shows of the year.
My mate is a massive Lydon fan, he's interviewed him on three separate occasions and has had a beer and a smoke with him, etc - he's an uber fan He accompanied me to the Glasgow show and was very, very sceptical about how it might turn out but it's fair to say that he got what it was all about and had the best of times.
The band is on top, top form.
Ultimately, the show is what it is: Just a joyous punk sing along with Franky Boy fronting the greatest backing band there is.

It's a swindle. It's a swindle. Maybe...
