Prostitution itself isn't illegal i don't think, soliciting though is. Coke, as in cocaine, is not illegal to take. It is illegal to sell or possess though.

The BBC liked to be squeaky clean.
There have been a few who fell foul of scandal.
Some though did get away with it until it was too late to prosecute.
A certain Jimmy Savile springs to mind.

RIPTerrible, what the press did to his career, just for a few days of selling their awful wares. He was a brilliant presenter and deserves to be remembered with much greater generosity. Lived on Teesside for a while too, working in the labs for ICI back in the day. RIP.
Its incredible how you remember small things like this. I actually got up slightly earlier to watch this. Is was an historic TV moment and the BBC had stolen a march on TVAM who were launching a week or so later.Still remember this. The opening to Breakfast programming on television.
