Framed Cup Final Tickets - STOLEN

Hi

If anybody is offered a frame with all 5 Boro CupFinal tickets in, please let me know. It was stolen from my wall yesterday whilst we had some electrical work dome in the house. I've just noticed now, as you can imagine a great deal o
 
What a scummy thing to do.

I can't imagine that there is a huge market for these, the sad thing is they will probably be split up and sold individually which destroys any collective and sentimental value that they had. Have you called the electricians? I would at least tell them that you intend to call the police but if the item had been "simply removed to avoid it being damaged whilst the work was being carried out no more need be said".

Sorry to hear that, what utter dispicable people there are in this world, cant people have something to cherish forthemselves, sadly they won't fetch much, its what they mean to you more than the worth, even replacing them wont be the same to you as they were probably your own tickets or loved ones

I will look & if I have all 5 tickets I will forward them on to you if you want them
 
Sadly I don't have a photo of it. The electrical company deny they even saw it and Cleveland Police weren't interested. I just hope whoever gets it looks appreciates it for what it is and how much heart ache we all went through in those finals!
 
I wouldn't let the electrical company get off that lightly - it's too easy to deny they even saw it - I'd be fuming. It's 99% certain that one of their workers took it and probably does the same in other properties. Tell them you'd like them to at least talk to their workers and then say you'll be running the story in the Gazette - an easy sell as they're looking for stories. You don't need to accuse anybody, but the boss might worry that his company name gets out with the potential for lost business forcing him to at least try to get the culprit to give it back. He probably has an idea who it is anyway if he knows his staff.
 
This is awful, we all have to trust people to some degree, especially if we leave our properties to others with valuables.

If you have thoroughly checked all possibilities with all people in your household. May be you can write something in a social media (checkatrader) about the company to warn others, to say something went missing when they were there without directly accusing them. The company maybe is honest but its possibly one member of their staff or sub contractor who is not, It might cause a reaction with a remote chance that something appears. Are you able to say the name of the contractor on here? or the numbers of the tickets?

If you left them alone with none of your household there, I would have thought they have a legal duty to look after the house and its contents. I gave specific instructions to a guy fitting our new central heating to keep external doors locked when they were alone in the house. Some have a tendency to keep doors open because its easy for them to go back and forth to their vans, which is ok if you are there, but not otherwise.

This is awful and you need to put their name out on social media so that it doesn't happen to others.

I certainly wouldn't use any company that had been accused of taking something from someones home. My dad had a train set from the 60's taken from out of the loft by an electrical company.

Any more update on the tickets

I woukdnt have just accepted their reply, something personal to you has been stolen, don't accept their reply, take it further

I would give them an ultimatum to return it unless you will tell anyone who will listen what happened! Got to be them no?
 
Ayresomeghost, I have found 4 cup final tickets I have as spare, the only one at the moment I can't find is the Leicester replay, I'm sure I have a spare sonewhere

If you want these let me know & I will post them out to you

I know the ones that were stolen will have sentimental value though so don't feel you have to take them

No FA Cup Final? - when he says all 5 finals shouldn't it be 6?

It could be he didn't have the UEFA cup final ticket as numbers were limited, I'm only guessing

Thank you for the kind offer of the tickets I really appreciate it but surprise surprise when I opened the front door yesterday morning the frame had appeared on my doorstep with a note saying 'sorry'
In answer to the queries it was the ZDS final, 1997, 1998 and 2004 League Cup finals I had. Sadly I couldn't get to Eindhoven. I tried to upload a picture but the file is too large. Thanks again for all your kindness. #UTB
