FPL Fantasy league league value on Messi?

If he ends up in Manchester, I think his value could be 15m in the fantasy league.

Rashford and Greenwood are classes as midfielders.

Just the 45 attacking returns last season, in a 'bad' season.

If an attacker that would've equate to somewhere around 270 points (25x4 + 20x3 + 66 app points + 1bps per attacking return - using KDB as a baseline for the bps)

So 13.5m seems fair, 13m seems generous and 14m still seems fine. £15m would price him out of the game and FPL wouldn't want that

Have they set Messi’s price £13m then? Bit presumptive as he hasn’t signed yet. But if true slightly on the generous side but as I said FPL wouldn’t want to price him too high that nobody can pick him without a ridiculously skewed team.

Fantasy premier league allows 100m to pick a squad of 15 players each having a value.

the big hitters like KDB, Salah and Mane will cost between 10-12m. Messi will be the most expensive player in fpl history when he arrives.

He’d be an auto pick and captain for the majority of the games, in many ways it would nullify the captaincy.

The last time they had a player that high was Ronaldo in his final season at Man U and he was up at £14m. But you never know. He may me different in English conditions - a possibility anyway. But at £13m he would have to be a must pick and auto captain as you say.
 
If he signs for city, barring injury, there's no chance he's anything other than a resounding success IMO. Certainly in terms of goals and assists anyway. He can't do much about their defending.

That team is pretty much tailor made for him.
 
He's be a perfect set and forget captain.

Couldn't care less of the opposition they faced, he is that destructive and that good.
 
Anyone starting to believe he might actually sign for City now? I think they are gonna actually sign him

Agree he's 33 and no doubt his best years are behind him.

But last season he ended up top goalscorer in La Liga....again...and also achieved the record of most assists in a season.

His game has changed somewhat and he's now creating a lot more goals than scoring them.

So in regards to FPL, his stats would still mean it would be one hell of a risk to go without him...even at 15m

He would make shed loads of goals for Sterling and Aguero and probably score at least 20/25 himself. Him and De Bruyne would be unstoppable together for me
 
Agree with @festa5 too. That City team is made for him.

The sheer pace and attacking prowess they have in their locker would only be taken to another level if Messi joined.

Not sure how teams would defend for 90 mins against Messi/KDB/Aguero/Sterling/Foden/Mahrez...etc
