Tom Lawrence for Derby looks a decent Championship player. I would have thought even with his highish salary, Derby could get a £2m transfer fee for him. The player may take a slight pay cut for more job security.

Hes got 6 months of contract left so not worth much of a fee, probably only affordable by the parachute teams because of the massive wages and I’m not sure he’d get in there teams.

I’m amazed Derby have the option to not be having a fire sale right now . I can only assume Mel Morris has some kind of agreement in place with the admins not made public to counter any low bids coming in .
I suspect they will come out of this Rosie whilst trying to deflect blame on others to try and reduce the purchase cost for any potential purchaser . So Mel Morris **** house tactics continue .
