Forest offer £10m for Tav

I really want Gyokeres and Riis, the lad from Brentford had a poor year last year, but the first two i mention I think would really speak volumes, other teams would take notice and our stock would rocket, the whole vibe around the club would increase tenfold if we brought them in.

that would be about 20m though, I can only see one at most

Yeah I agree 100%, we would need to lose Tav to fund this (aswell as a replacement for Tav!) but that's what I want so when the club don't deliver, I can and will moan and whine and stomp my feet.

...and then when strikers we bring in eventually fire us to promotion, I'll pretend I didn't want this lot to begin with ;)

As others have said one good season last year for Gyokeres doesn’t guarantee anything I don’t think the chairmen will risk FFP.

If either club wants what we got for Spence from Spurs I doubt either will join us.

The grasp of football finances and FFP is alarmingly bad across our fanbase.

........Writing on Twitter about those approaches, the transfer insider stated: “Middlesbrough reject bids from Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth for Marcus Tavernier. They will be back whilst others such as Leicester and Everton are also keen. Boro now battling to keep one of their star performers from last season.”......

It will hopefully be clear from the Spence saga that we won’t role over about valuations particularly when there are apparently numerous suitors of him.
