For those who can’t see the double touch..

for those of you advocating the double touch, can you tell us where and how it occurs
because i just cannot see it. Block i usually agree with most things you say but cannot understand your so adamant on this. Heam im not too sure hes not a geordie troll .
Its clear from behind that he strikes the ball with his left foot as hes slipping, but his right foot slides under his left foot after hes struck it and makes no contact on the ball.
Im p****d that the referee makes that decision, Krull made no reaction until he saw the ref make his decision,.
Tav was dumbfounded hed slipped and did protest as did others but play carried on quickly so they had to get back into the game. The law is there to stop a player dribbling forward. He gained no advantage. As others have pointed out if the referee is applying the rules then equally retake as Krull off his line and also an infringement in the box.
All in all we can discuss it till the cows come home it will make no difference now. But it is an awful decision and smacks of nepotism. ( he also should have booked Sorenson for the blatant body check and then followed with a red ) that was even more blatant nepotism
Only reason I’m advocating mate is because I have seen it. There is a video on Instagram one job on teeeside the account is called and if you zoom in you can see it touched his right foot and diverts towards the middle of the goal. I am sure Warnock will get asked about it again and clear it up. The decision not send Sorensen off though was shambolic. I am gutted as anyone about what happened with the penalty but I can’t not be honest. I have seen the ball hit his right foot. And as for Heam, I don’t think he’s a troll. He’s been a decent poster on here for a while.

If any one follows one job on teesside Instagram go on that and zoom in on the footage. He touched it twice.
Right so you need to zoom in on the footage now so again it’s not clear then is it?

Because as far as I am aware the ref didn’t have a zoom feature to check.

He guessed and made an ego look at me aren’t I clever ruling against Warnock.

Nothing more nothing less.

As that zoom could just as easily show he was wrong

The ref was a lot closer than us though he was at the game about 6 or 7 yards away. He didn’t need to zoom.

Look at where he was aiming, then the path and spin on the ball. He had to have kicked it twice, I called it as soon as it happened. So I’ll say it again, he 100% kicked it onto his other foot.

Yeah he was aiming for the corner. Deflected off his right foot went down the middle. The only shame is, the keeper is getting nowhere near it any way as he dived other wise wouldn’t of made a difference. That’s my biggest regret about the whole thing

That’s my issue mate you saying you could see it on zoom slo mo etc then fine

but there’s no way it was a cut and dried 100% decision to make in real time at speed.

The fact it was so ambiguous and uncertain should result in goal being given.

He’s local so he knows just how big a decision that was to take away a goal from a side that can’t buy a goal was a huge call huge.

Why do you think I’m a Geordie troll?

Ok fair enough. But on this occasion I think he’s got it right. I do think he’s a poor ref in general though and don’t like him on boro games just because I know him personally

Not sure if anyone mentioned yet the possibility of what the ref heard and not what he saw. A cricket umpire makes calls based on sound when he hears double touch like bat/pad decisions

That’s a good point because you can actually hear the two touches on quest EFL highlights.

I haven't got the inclination to watch the Quest highlights.
Sometimes in life you meet people with different opinions on things, this seems to be one such occasion. To say that it's all down to whether a stranger on the internet's vision is 20/20 or not is frankly a bit odd.
How do you know I'm not visually impaired?

Unfortunately you are wrong again.

It’s nothing to do with opinions.

He either touched it once or twice.

It’s a question of FACT.
