For the Cycling lot (spoiler btw) just a bit emotional for some

Welcome back Finny!

When's the next Ben and Jerry's offer? Freezer needs topping up. 😀

I was wondering where you'd disappeared to - assumed you were just giving the place a rest.

I've been watching most races Cav's entered this year hoping to watch him win live again, but went out on the bike today instead. It's been coming with 2nd, 3rd and 4th places. Really chuffed for him. Good to see another oldie in Greipel slot into 3rd.

Yes he came third in a race last weekend so back on it. Tour of Turkey doesn’t have the top sprinters present but it’s great to see him back.

you’ve been very quiet. Where have you been?

All depends on whether Bennett wants to go to the Tour. If he does then Cav might get The Giro or Vuelta. I can’t see him wanting to be part of Bennett’s train only.

Getting boring now Cav ;)

I lurk occasionally these days rarely post - just relaxing and enjoying life

Randy - get yourself down to the Co-op 28th April for a lovely bargain.......

Great to see Cav back on form, these last few years of illness and injury must have been torture for someone who was so used to winning and winning big.

...and a hat-trick. Nasty crash just behind him though. Fortunately Jakobsen not involved, but seeing it must have unnerved him.

Aye that was some win and the sprint wasn't even close. Not a great race for my fantasy league team though, last with only ten points - I'd have been better sticking pins in the start list.

Just woken to see this result and watched the finish. What a result for Pidcock out sprinting WVA and Trentin. Wouldn’t worry about the lack of points today. I think we all struggled given the crash which took out some of the front runners in DQS.

Incidentally a Yorkshire lass won the ladies Brabantse Pijl.

Sadly Ruth Winder, born in Keighley, rides for the US.

I wonder if Boro's greatest ever cyclist (and Boro fan) still lives there? I have these interviews with Sid from last year in my favourites for the youngsters - look at that England team kit - how things have changed. He's the same age as me I believe - almost.

Chris Boardman did a documentary on GCN+ last year about Yorkshire cycling and he caught up with Sid so I guess he still lives in that neck of the woods pierre. He certainly never missed an opportunity to give Boro a mention 👍
