Footballers pay

Can footballers be furloughed? Are they not paye like the rest of us? Unless they have something written in their contracts I would be taking this up and using the money to help those in need at this time.

On THE ITV news it said, 2 championship clubs have agreed to players taking paycuts, Im sure Boro are one but who would be the other club
 
Imagine if at every team every player forfeited 2 weeks pay, think how far that could go
