Football Attendances

19 September 2020, Middlesbrough v Bournemouth, attendance 1000. How the world laughs [/morti6]

Apart from the Bournemouth game the lowest attendances I can remember for home games were around the 4K mark when Alf Duffield was Chairman, is that about right Erimus?
That was in the Ayresome Park days, I'm talking League games.
Remember being there on a old winter day all those years ago.
And yes I was at Hartlepool but excluding that one.

Luton withdrew from the pilot and Hull were refused permission to hold a game at the kcom with spectators

The lowest for a league game was the 3,364 sprinkled around Ayresome Park for the visit of Notts County in Feb 1985. And like the above mentioned Hartlepool game aswell as saturdays match, I'm proud to have been in attendance of all three.

I was one of them. One of worst games of football ever, during one of our lowest points. I think we were 2nd from bottom, and lost 0-1 to county who were bottom, and hadn't won for months. Freezing fooking day too. :(

On the plus side, that season hardened me to all the so called 'bad times' we've had since (which don't even compare) :D
