Fontaines D.C.

Oh you bloody lucky b****d. Disneyland for adults. I don't need to wish you a great time because it's guaranteed. What's your camping plans? Anything lined up yet?
Just working that out with friends, any suggestions?

Superb band who just keep evolving and improving.

Looked for tickets for Leeds Arena the other day and completely sold out. That they're now selling out arenas is both impressive and fully deserved.

Need to get to see them soon. Still gutted that they cancelled the year they were meant to be playing the small stage at Deer Shed.

Grian Chatten's solo album chaos for the fly is pretty good

Isn’t it just?
I think the band will challenge their followers over time - they don’t look back, they will keep developing.

Also, good to hear him talk openly about his ADHD diagnosis and impact

Hoping I can see them at glasto
If you have a ticket then what will stop you? Re camping I’d try and get a Worthy View ticket if there’s any left and have a pre-erected tent. Otherwise best place to pitch a tent in my opinion is up the hill towards the medical centre. Or better still a campervan.

Depends on quite a few different things really. Do you want to be in the thick of it and out all night early morning or do you you want a good nights sleep and a bit of space to set up camp. Are you coming on the bus or by car etc. Assuming you're not in Worthy View or Sticklinch? They've got a few more comforts which i've gotten used to now.

Going by car, and yeah, I need a good sleep, no not in Worthy View or Sticklinch, probably too late for that option

Always stood out to me as a modern guitar band loved by 'the kids' in an age where guitar music is largely non-existent. Have really developed beyond that and clearly have loads of ideas both sonically and lyrically so looking forward to the album.
