Fog Horns

I love a foghorn, living on the coast has a myriad of wonderful noises, my favourite being the sound of crashing waves against the shore during spring tides.
You do know there are two spring tides every month? (and two neap tides)

Can't believe all this romantic notions of foghorns. As soon as I got to bed and heard it I was like oh ffs. That ship hasn't moved since it got there. I suspect they still trying to thread the first cable wires through the eye of whatever bobbin spins it out , just like me and threading a needle. Meanwhile there are about 4 mini platforms and about 14 little helper boats whizzing around. Seems more like the sea version of lane closed on motorway due to works when there are no works or workmen in doing anything. Anyway , it gave my mind an alternative to focus on other than the noisy starlings that have resided for a week behind the weather board under the eves of the roof above my bay window.
