Fmttm player sponsorship - copy and paste https://gf.me/u/y4q8gs

Do we:

  • Sponsor as FMTTM

  • Sponsor on behalf of a charity

Results are only viewable after voting.
I told them I might be able to pick them up from the club when they are ready but that was before the lockdown.
We might have to hit pause until after lockdown - but we'll see.

Who decided that?

I think they should both be raffled with proceeds to the Foundation
Okay, you've told us that.
some would like the chance of the shirt and why shouldn't they.
If you win it, you can donate it.
If someone else wins it they can do with it as they wish.

FWIW I think one to donate and one to raffle to those that contributed, as BB has said it can then be up to the individual who receives the shirt to with it as they wish.
Already we have 2 different view points. Given the fuss made about voting for the player we should have a definitive vote on what we decide to do with the shirts.

I've asked before but didn't see a reply - is everybody who donated a member of this board?

Some people have said they would like the option to have the shirt for themselves other people would like to donate both shirts to the foundation or whatever.
We donated money to the club now that we have the shirts if someone who wants to donate the shirt to another charity gets it then it is up to them to do what they want.
I don't see why this has to be another endless debate this is meant to be something fun . if just 1 of the 36 people who donated would like the option to get the shirt then I think that should be an option available to them.

no one is suggesting that if you were to get the shirt that you should keep it for yourself so I'm not sure why you think it is okay to suggest that people shouldn't have the option to have the shirt for themselves if that's what they want. This is meant to be a bit of fun .

You dont know what % of the people who donated want to have the option of having the shirt or it going to the foundation therefore it should go to a vote. It's not your decision to make.

Why wont you answer my question - is everyone who donated a member of the board? (that's the 4th time I've asked)

I actually have a job and I am at it now.
Some people have told me they would like the option of the shirt.

you can see for yourself that there are two posters who have said the same thing just today. I too would like the chance to win a signed shirt.
people might want to keep it or they may choose to donate it to another cause or charity that they have a personal affinity to.
And as I said before if at least one person who donated has said that then I think that should be an option. You just seem to want to impose what your view is onto everything. I am trying to be as impartial as possible.
if this is a big issue for you I'llquite happily send you a cheque for the money that you donated.
You can send me your address and I will have it transferred to you today not a problem I'm not going to spend my time arguing on this board about something like this just because you do not agree with it

I liked the idea of 1 to charity, and 1 to a raffle between people who donated to the £900
I’m more than happy with this it’s a win win

Good for charity in a turbulent time do they can make some much needed money

And a nice chance for all those who contributed to have a chance to win a nice momento

Yes I’d 100% agree with this
