I am really glad you enjoyed it and it was good to put a face to someone I've talked to a lot online - It makes all the difference.

It was also good to speak with @rkangel and I'm sure we will have a few mutual friends given the area we both grew up in. 😉

@Trug always got a funny story to tell and hooking the same bloke three times made me laugh. 🤣🤣🤣
It is always good to see @TeessideCleveland, @NYboro (your travels in Spain sounded excellent), @newyddion, and @Erimus74 and his son.

I have booked a table for the 12th July (same venue), but I won't be there for that one. I am away from Thursday and not back until September - Hopefully, we will have a new manager by then. I'm going to take a few weeks away from the board, but will post again when the season starts.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make that one; my daughter and son-in-law are staying with us for a few days. Enjoy your time in France (I'm not holding my breath over the new manager).

Despite missing today, currently on a slow cross country train. I think u have managed the coffee club well and really don't see any need for a new manager

I had a brilliant time today. it was lovely to meet arkangel and WeeGord. I think it was Newidion I was sat next to but I am so useless with names so sorry if I have got that wrong. The craic, as always was good fun and putting the world og Boro FC to right.
Anyway Norman . it was interesting to learn that you fish. I hope you don't think I am being forward but I would love to go pike fishing with you sometime if that is alright. I won't be offended if you don't want to.

That was a glorious thing to be a part of. Thank you all for carrying such smiles in your hearts. Sorry I didn’t engage with some of you a little more but I think Norman C and I fell into the Grangetown/South Bank Hall of Mirrors. And here’s my favourite fish inspired poem, read by the poet.

Why don't you take the next step and join us? The next meeting is 12th July, I won't be there, but I am sure @guisborough_rob will remind everyone closer to the day.

It's been a while since I've done any pike fishing, but it's something we could do.
