England in a very strong position. Bat all day 3...game over. Bat for 2 sessions (which they should be more than capable of) then it's at least a 300 lead, and bowling under the lights.

NZ have to bowl very very well tomorrow 1st session (or we capitulate...possible, given our approach) to have any chance IMO

Thing is, if NZ bat 'normally', to get 350 you are looking at 100 overs, which is a long time to hang around in a 4th innings!

It is but it’s been done before. Not saying they’d definitely chase it but they’ve got the Batsman to give it a good go and time isn’t an issue.

The 4th innings is generally harder due to a wearing pitch. Not sure this pitch is going to deteriorate that much either.

Decent spell after Tea. Foakes has batted very well. Stokes was looking good until that shot but that’s the way he plays.

On a side note, I’m watching England on TV and India v Aus on the tablet.

Aussies just reviewed 2 not out LBW decisions that were nowhere near being out. Nothing ever changes. They’re truly awful with their reviews.
